Producing Endurance

My brothers and sisters,
whenever you face trial of
any kind, consider it nothing
but joy, because you know
that the testing of your
faith produces endurance;
and let endurance have its
full effect, so that you
may be mature and complete,
lacking in nothing.
(James 1:2-4 NRSV)

Hey guys,

IT'S HOLIDAY!!!!(FOR MONASH & MEL UNI STUDENT ONLY!!!) This is so not cool lah!!! hehe.. but i was really glad that there were new faces in prayer meeting this tuesday.. and thanks for being on time so that we can start and finish on time... i guess we had a great time sharing and praying for ppl RIGHT!!! And thanks Charles sharing the GOOD NEWS about his uncle..let's continue to pray for one an other... as this is part of some thing we can bless one an other with...Whether the person is close or far away...

So how have your walk with God been? hehe..Is it to personal to ask(anyway u can't tell me..hehe)..but i believe each and everyone of us is facing certain kind of problem in our life...to some of us we have been a christian for so long that we also forgot the purpose that is for us and little things starts to creep into our hearts telling us negative things about God.. and we start to doubt God.. but lets not forget that we live not for ourselves but for our one and only loving God that first love us..I would really encourage u guys to look at video/books on THE CASE OF FAITH if u guys have an doubt or question that u have in your walk with God... But to my own conclusion of the whole thing...

FAITH is something we need to hold so dearly to us that it will continue to keep our walk with God right. In this video i really like this phrase that this guy said after he when through a great suffering losing her daughter. "Suffering drives us to this point that has no where out and hold onto, we just there before HIM".

"FAITH IS NOT KNOWING THE FUTURE BUT UNDERSTAND ENOUGH NOW TO MAKE A DECISION THAT WILL CHANGE OUR LIFE"

Proverbs 2:2-5
and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
and if you look for it as silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.

Lets Continue to seek and find GOD together as one and build one an other up... One of the most effective way is really to pray... Keeping one another in prayer is the best thing we can do!!! so lets not slack too much when we are on holiday as our walk with Jesus is something so joyful that we dun even need a break....

ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY!!!:p
